Have Magic, Will Travel
I’ve done a lot of travelling in the last week, performing close-up magic in Spalding (Lincolnshire) and Cambridge, and a cabaret gig in Epsom with [Headfry->http://www.headfry.co.uk].
Many of my gigs are in Leicestershire and the Midlands, but I’m increasingly getting booked to go farther afield. Usually I don’t mind the travelling, because I enjoy visiting new places and I’m not usually driving during peak periods. But three longish trips in consecutive days was a bit tiring!
The Epsom gig with Headfry was a good one - it was for the Royal Automobile Club private members club based there. It’s always a good laugh when the Headfry team gets together. There’s a bit about it on my [news page->http://www.dangifford.com/news-magician-entertainer-dan-gifford-UK.htm].
I’m afraid my photo’s didn’t come out too well but there is one of Will performing three card monte. I’ve tried to tell him card tricks are too small for stage work but….
